Natural materials have anti-aging properties

Active Concepts (Booth No. B600) is introducing two new anti-aging materials during In-Cosmetics. ACB Wakame Bioferment, proposed INCI: Undaria pinnatifida ferment filtrate, is said to increase cell metabolism, decrease internal ROS and increase collagen synthesis. at use levels ranging from 0.5-2.0%. ACB Sirtuin Complex, applied INCI: Buytlene glycol (and) saccharomyces/podophyllum peltatum ferment filtrate, is capable of increasing SIRT1 expression. During the manufacturing process, Active Concepts ferments the plant with yeast. After fermentation, the product is centrifuged to concentrate the actives. An extract is then made from the pellet using butylene glycol. This novel manufacturing process allows for ease of formulation, according to Active Concepts.
